I am the daughter of the force

That drives the world,

That gives birth and takes life,

That makes the body

Then turns it to ash-

I am the daughter of the Goddess.

For locks of hair I have threads of fate,

And glimmering stars for eyes.

I am a fragment of my mother-

A Goddess in my own right.

I drive the world.

I am beauty.

I am pain.

I am love.

My tears give life.

My touch nurtures.

And my laughter echoes

The song of heaven.

I am a woman-

But I’m not just that.

I’m the daughter of Earth.

See me as a monster,

Or a Goddess,

For I can destroy

As much as I nurture.
